Until now, anyone wanting to develop an app for the Shopware 6 Cloud often had to resort to their own “app backend server”. This was always necessary when deeper logic had to be implemented. Because in the app itself, no PHP code is possible.
With version 6.4.8 Shopware now enables the use of Custom Data and App Scripts. This often makes it possible to manage without an “app backend server”. In our video tutorial, we show how these new powerful tools can be used, using the premium article as an example.
