Product Configurator
Configuration
You find the global settings under Extensions › My extensions, for the Product Configurator via the three-dot menu › Configuration.
All settings can be defined per sales channel. Select the desired sales channel at the top of the configuration dialog before changing values. This lets the configurator behave differently in, for example, the B2B channel than in the B2C channel.
General
Activate plugin for this sales channel
Switches the configurator on or off in the selected sales channel. If the option is disabled, configurators are not shown in this channel – regardless of whether they are assigned to products.
Default: active
Show configurator badge in product listing
Marks products that have a configurator with a badge in product listings and search results. This way customers recognise configurable products even before clicking.
Default: off
Save configuration
Allows customers to save their configuration on the product page and receive a shareable link. More about this under Save & share.
Default: off
Configurator details in checkout
Controls how the entered configuration is shown on cart and checkout line items:

Days after which shared configuration data is deleted
Saved or shared configurations older than the specified number of days are automatically removed by a background task. The value 0 means: never delete.
Default: 0

This section contains a note that the actual configurators are managed in the Catalogues › Product Configurator module. There you create fields and assign configurators to products – see Managing configurators.
