When an article is sold out, the visit ends without a result in the standard - and whether the customer comes back is left to chance. The extension puts a form at that point: the customer leaves an email address and hears as soon as the stock is back.

Usually yes. The extension uses the Twig blocks of the standard theme on the product page. For heavily customised themes we check compatibility first - tell us the theme it is based on.
Can I still install updates?
Yes. The extension only hooks into the official extension points; nothing in the Shopware core is changed.
