Point-based customer loyalty through bonus points
Collect points, redeem points: how a bonus programme makes the second purchase more likely, and what the customer sees of it.
Winning customers is a demanding process, and rarely a cheap one.
How a points-based programme works
The customer collects points with every purchase. On the next purchase they redeem them: as a discount, or as the means of payment for certain reward products. The points balance is a reason to come back that the shop hands out itself.
We have taken up the subject in Shopware 6 and offer the possibilities described with our Bonus System plugin.

What the customer sees of it
Operating it is simple. The customer account lists every point collected in one place. On each order the basket shows the balance and lets it be used for the purchase. Certain reward products can be set up so that they can only be bought with points.
As a complement, level-based customer loyalty is worth a look: collecting points to reach a level, rather than spending them one at a time.
